A National Voice
United Kingdom
| Community/Family
A national voice is an organisation run for and by young people who are or have been in care. We give an individual and collective voice so to ensure young people from care have a say in all decisions that affect them. We inform and influence central and local government decisions about the care system in England. We educate professionals and general public about the lives and experiences of young people from care, while promoting positive images of young people from care. We raise awareness about care issues and reduce stigma so to positively promote the rights of young people from care and to promote the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
