Southern Cross Care (SA & NT) Inc (SCC) was established in August, 1968 when the Knights of the Southern Cross, an order of Catholic laymen committed to promoting the Christian way of life throughout Australia, registered the name Southern Cross Homes Inc. Based on our fundamental philosophy of providing high quality, flexible services to residents and families of diverse religious, cultural and social backgrounds; Southern Cross Care is committed to providing aged care services which empower residents and encourage choice. We commit ourselves to meeting the needs of the whole person in our care, physical, emotional and spiritual; in an environment characterised by Christian care and compassion, to bring about comfort, security, friendship, healing and hope.
