More information
Children's Hospital opened in St.Paul, Minnesota, in 1924 under the leadership of Dr.Walter Ramsey, the first physician in the area to limit his practice to pediatrics. He initiated the policy of permitting patients to pay what they could afford. Today CHA is comprised of approximately 500 members, all of whom are volunteers. They are dedicated to raising funds and providing programs and services to support the health and well-being of children in our community. CHA raises, maintains and distributes funds to Children's Hospitals and Clinics serving St. Paul and the east metro community.
