Canadian artists for the poor is an innovative way to help those living in extreme poverty. Canadian artists - painters, sculptures and photographers - donate an item of their works. We put on the event inviting the public to meet the local artists and bid on their art pieces. It's a win-win situation. The artists get more exposure; the attendees have an enjoyable afternoon and take home a beautiful art piece - often an original. Canadian artists for the poor is able to raise money for individuals living in hopeless conditions - partnering with non-profits working at the ground level. We are a non-profit organization supporting artists and their art. Funding is given to charities working in the poorest areas of the world; specifically in the areas of nutrition, water, medical services and protection services for children.
