To promote and organize the defense and protection of domestic animals and wildlife both in France and worldwide.

The Brigitte Bardot Foundation fight against all forms of animal abuse in France and abroad. It participates in projects of reintroduction in the wild and the creation of sanctuaries and rehabilitation centers for wildlife. It also participates in the development of laws protecting animals and implements awareness campaigns among the general public. One of the major actions of the BBF in France is to fight against the proliferation of cats "free" in our cities. Thanks to its mobile clinic, the Foundation Brigitte Bardot moves on the field to provide assistance to homeless and their pets. Nearly 600 investigators and volunteer delegates throughout France are dedicated to Action Legal Foundation Brigitte Bardot. The work of investigators is crucial and allows the service to investigate and prosecute legal abuse proven. In 2009, the Foundation Brigitte Bardot has launched more than 2,000 surveys (1000 for abuse, nearly 500 community animal health, food associations, over 700 post-adoption).
