NPI-Africa exists to contribute to the transformation of conflicts and the emergence of a peaceful and developing Africa, through initiating and facilitating processes of peacemaking, peacebuilding and reconciliation.

Nairobi Peace Initiative - Africa (NPI-Africa) is a peace resource organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. Its strategies include direct initiation of processes, capacity building and and accompaniment of other organizations, individuals, communities and processes of peacebuilding. NPI-Africa also creates spaces for reflection, documentation and dissemination of ideas, lessons and issues emerging from conflict scenarios and peacebuilding practice.
