More information
The BVA AWF is committed to improving the welfare of all animals through veterinary science, education and debate. The Foundation was established in 1983 by the British Veterinary Association as a result of a generous legacy. The BVA AWF is the veterinary profession’s own animal welfare charity. Veterinary surgeons are involved in all aspects of animal care and therefore in the best position to identify animal welfare problems and assist in finding solutions to them. The involvement of the veterinary profession as trustees of the BVA AWF makes this charity unique.
