One World Foundation Africa is a charity working in London and in Africa to empower and promote the independence of the socially excluded, particularly people from the African Community, living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and people from black and ethnic minority communities. In the UK we primarily work with young people in Newham, East London and our African project is in Kiboga District, Uganda. We aim to develop the capacities and skills of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities in order to empower and promote their independence in the community both in UK and overseas. We strive for the relief of poverty, sickness and distress particularly as a result of HIV/AIDS, disabilities, war and forced migration.
