Rural Solar Lighting is a registered charity in the UK. It was set up in 2007 to promote use of environmentally friendly solar charged lamps/lanterns to replace Kerosene lamps/lanterns in rural parts of the world where there is no grid electricity and household depend solely on Kerosene lamps for their lighting.Replacing Kerosene Lamps will provide the following benefits: improve education standard and reading levels, improve health and safety,enhance economic and social standards, motivates and encourage children to read and complete school home-work.
