ChildFund uses sponsorship to provide continuous childcare... education, nutrition, health care, and clean water.... When you become a sponsor, ChildFund sends you a photograph and information about the child. Later you will receive regular progress reports so you can see the results and you can also exchange letters with your sponsored child. ChildFund Ireland was registered in Ireland as an autonomous Irish Non Governmental Organisation in 1991 and became operational in 1996. ChildFund Ireland through its partners in ChildFund Alliance and Christian Children's Fund (CCF) facilitates the sponsorship of individual children in great need throughout 24 countries and manages development and emergency programmes worldwide.
