UNICEF Australia is a non-government organisation established in 1966, and is a charity and public company limited by guarantee. UNICEF Australia is one of 36 National Committees for UNICEF based in industrialised countries. National Committees raise nearly one third of UNICEF's global income, while playing a vital role in generating public support and awareness for the organisation's work. UNICEF Australia works to raise funds in support of UNICEF's work for children in over 150 countries and territories. We do this through a range of work including fundraising through various donation programs, appeals, working with the corporate sector, special events and the sale of greeting cards.
