More information
Each summer we provide month long recuperative holidays in the UK for about 150 children from Belarus. We organise a holiday in a clean part of Belarus for children with disabilities from orphanages, sending volunteers out from Britain to make sure the kids have a great holiday.
We deliver four convoys of humanitarian aid to Belarus every year. We also purchase urgently needed medicines for the Children's Cancer Hospital in Minsk and support the Children’s Hospice Movement.
During the last ten years we have had a major training programme which has helped to reduce the numbers of children in the orphanages, to prepare suitable local foster families and to help children prepare for leaving care. Much of our work focuses on improving the educational and social opportunities for children and young people with disabilities.
