Wild for Life Foundation (WFLF) is a 501 (c)(3) grassroots volunteer based nonprofit charity dedicated to saving, protecting and preserving wild and domestic equines. At Wild for Life Foundation, we help build connections between people and animals, increasing awareness about responsible equine and canine ownership and care through education. Through our equine protection program and the Saving America's Horses Initiative, we research, investigate and document crucial information and toward the advancement humane education. Through WFLF's Lifetime Equine Refuge, we provide medical care, food, shelter and a 2nd chance at life for rescued wild and domestic equines across the US. OPERATION OTTB is our Thoroughbred rescue and sanctuary program for off track racehorses in need. We save, rehabilitate and re-train off track Thoroughbred racehorses for a second chance at life. We provide for their ongoing care through sanctuary and facilitate appropriate transition and new forever homes through our adoption and foster care programs. WFLF's BACK TO THE WILD provides long term sanctuary for wild horses removed from the open ranges and educational resources for the preservation of wild equines.
