YTF works to integrate technology into disadvantaged communities in an effective, sustainable way to achieve real access and outcomes for people to utilize technology to improve their lives, YTF realizes the importance of digital inclusion of youth in the field of education, sciences, culture and communication.Youth for Technology Foundation (YTF) is an international organization that seeks to bridge the digital canyon among disadvantaged communities in developing countries, starting with the continent of Africa. The vision of Youth for Technology Foundation is to foster wealth creation, reduce unemployment and create self-sustaining communities by providing marginalized people in rural communities with the technology tools, training and resources to enable them to realize their greatest potential. Technology - even in small amounts- is helping developing nations and communities overcome tradition to take leaps forward. YTF recognizes that access to information holds the key to the empowerment of marginalized people, particularly youth and women. YTF programs focus on assisting the poor, disadvantaged and marginalized communities so that they can better participate in the digital economy. Primary beneficiaries are young people, ages 8 to 25 years, who will gain the knowledge necessary to be advocates of these issues. Secondary beneficiaries are the rural dwellers who do not have the adequate access to information and as a result become undereducated and isolated from the global economy.
